Wi Fi here actually worked better than any RN park we've stayed in even after Jeff warned me it could be finicky and not to expect too much. No cable but we got more channels than we needed on the HD. The electric/water/sewer hookups were in very good order like they were new--but they were not.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the shower is outdoors. My husband loved it but me, not so much. The bathroom, itself, was non-gender specific and it was large and quite nice with updated tiles, fixtures, etc. Don't get me wrong--I've stayed in campgrounds with outdoor showers and theirs was really the nicest outdoor shower I've ever seen-it's just not my cuppa tea.

This our response to Joselyn Stewart : I guess being 1 mile from the lake just wasn't good enough for you? There are several Parks that have lake access if you were not so CHEAP you could have stayed at one of them. The Wifi here is FREE and works as good as any other park in this area. Sorry but we do not advertise our park as a 5 star class 'A' RV Resort. We have 16 space of which 6 are long term monthly campers so I do not know what "Most" means to you? So in closing I'm sure you will never be happy no matter what accommodations you use. Maybe you should open your own Park? Naa, You still wouldn't be happy...................... And this response was done this way because we have done the dance with Google and still have not been able to respond as a business to the reviews. Jeff Wilkinson - MANAGER - Lake Hartwell R.V. Park

I showed up and while I was able to get into the spot, I had to back out of it. No problem as I've been driving this 70 ft. behemoth for 3 years.

These guys.. Mike the Manager and Jeff (owner) are awesome. Good old southern welcome and hospitality. Its not on the lake. Its easy in and out off I-85 and VERY reasonable. I only stayed one night as I had to see Mom in Atlanta.. I highly recommend this campground for several reasons: Great Wi-Fi, TV reception on antenna (69 channels) courtesy, close nit neighbors and convenience to I-85.

The owners, Michael and Jeff were most gracious and checked each time they saw us to ask if we needed anything. They never intruded but when they did see us, they were always helpful, friendly and fun! (Thanks, Jeff for the clue-in on where to get inexpensive propane!) The other campers we met were also friendly and quick to compliment Jeff and Michael from their prior stays.

My husband, I and our pup stayed at Lake Hartwell RV Park August 2017, mainly for the eclipse. It's just a few miles off 85 and plunked down in a very pretty, bucolic setting. When we took the dog for a stroll, the horses in the back pasture would often come up to the fence to check us out. The grounds are very well kept--so much so it's obvious the owners take pride in how their place looks. The campsite was not the biggest we'd ever had but their sites are bigger than many we've noted and they are set among trees with open fields all around the park. It looks like it was once a farm.

I called a day or two ahead.. I tell Mike, I'm in a 40ft. Country Coach with a 24 ft. enclosed car hauler. Can you DEAL with this? He was funny, and friendly on the phone. I called back 3 days later.. ""been visiting with friends and family ELSEWHERE in Upstate SC"" and he still had my spot!

The sites are level with nice, well-tended grass to curl your toes in when sitting out front cooking dinner, having an adult beverage or taking in the incredible night sky. Remember--when you're this far away from large cities, the skies are brimming with stars and planets!

Michael is phenomenal! Jeff is very helpful and will go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. Very clean facility! Highly recommend!

We had to cut our trip short, regretfully, but we would definitely stay here again. This is not the place to come if you're looking for the lights, bells and whistles of one of those large, commercial RV Parks with huge pools and water slides and grocery/camp stores and all the kids but if you're looking for a quiet, gracious setting in the countryside near Lake Hartwell or the water falls or other nearby local sites of interest for a great price, look no further! Thank you, Michael and Jeff. Well done!

Jeff, Mike 5 STARS to you!

GREAT RV PARK!!!! THE VERY BEST IN THIS AREA!!!! OWNERS ARE VERY NICE AND MAINTAIN VERY CLEAN AND SAFE PARK!!!! LOOKING FORWARD TO STAYING HERE AGAIN AND SEEING THEM SOON!!!! THANK YOU, MICHAEL AND JEFF FOR A GREAT STAY!!!!
